Can I Put a Griddle Across Two Wolf Induction Zones?
The answer
Only with the bridge on. Wolf's current guide says a griddle belongs across two elements only when the bridge element is switched on; used any other way, the glass can be damaged or crack. Preheat the bridged pair on high for five minutes, then turn it down. If the bridge will not engage, call Redmond Wolf Repair, (425) 905-2822.

Setting the bridge
On the current Wolf induction cooktops, choose a power level on one of the two elements you want to join, then touch Bridge; its symbol lights, and adjusting either bridged element sets both. The 36-inch model adds Brg for a side-to-side pair and All Bridge for every element, which Wolf recommends for cookware more than 12 inches across. Among Wolf’s electric cooktops, only the 36-inch has a bridge.
When there is no bridge
The same caution covers an open roaster and a fish poacher. If your cooktop has no Bridge control, Wolf’s guidance leaves no safe way to span two zones, so keep to a pan that fits a single ring.
