What should I have ready when I book?
The model and serial number if you can reach them, and what the cooktop is doing: which light is on, what flashes, whether a burner clicks and when. That is what tells Redmond Wolf Repair which signal it is before anyone sets out. Ring (425) 905-2822 if you cannot find the plate.
Where is the model number on a Wolf cooktop?
Wolf puts the rating plate on the underside of its induction, electric and gas cooktops. On a sealed-burner rangetop it sits at the far right of the lower edge of the control panel. If the plate is out of reach under the counter, book anyway and say so; it is read at the visit.
Is there a charge if I decide not to go ahead?
The $89 visit covers coming out and finding the fault, and it stands whether or not you go ahead. If you approve the repair, the $89 is credited against it. Either way you keep the diagnosis and the name of the part.
When are technicians out, and when is the phone answered?
Technicians work between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm, Monday to Sunday. The phone is picked up day and night, so a question at night still reaches someone. If you smell gas, do not book online: get everyone out first, then phone the gas utility or 911 once you are outside.
