Continuous Beep From the Touch Controls
When a Wolf induction top keeps beeping, read the timer display first, then look for a pan, towel or puddle sitting on the touch strip.

Why the strip has to be clear
Wolf’s current guide asks owners not to rest hot cookware over the controls, and to spray degreaser onto a cloth rather than onto the panel. A tea towel over the front edge or a splash from a boiling pot can end up on the strip. The timer runs independently of the zones, so it can chime with every zone off.
Turning the sound down
On current CI and CE models, volume is the first extended option. With every zone off and the lock released, keep a finger on All Off for five seconds. Vo appears on the timer display; Sim or Hi on the front element’s control moves the level, + on the timer steps on to Fr for tone, and All Off saves. On an older CT induction top, holding CLEAR for three seconds brings up Uol, and the + and – pads step the volume.
When it is not the timer
Wolf’s two induction guides explain the finished-timer chime and a single warning chime with one minute left. Neither covers beeping from a clean panel with no timer set, so that one wants a technician. The model and serial number are on the registration card and on the rating plate under the cooktop.
